Enjoy the 3km long avenue of weeping cherry trees that are in full bloom along the former railway line.

It is located in the Kawageta district of Inawashiro Town. "Kannonji River"
Along the river that flows from Kannonji Temple upstream, a row of cherry trees, mainly Somei Yoshino cherry trees, continues for about one kilometer.
When in full bloom, a tunnel of cherry blossoms spreads out before you.

At Oyamazumi Shrine, located in the middle reaches of the river, the festival will be held from April 12th (Friday) to April 29th (National Holiday), 2024.
The Cherry Blossom Festival is held.
There are events and food stalls, and at night the cherry blossoms are lit up, allowing you to enjoy them at night.
It has also been selected as the 11th temple on the Tohoku Dream Cherry Blossom Highway.
